Timeline of Sigma Electronics history

Jun. 1985 Established system house and developed micro computer equipped balancers.
Sep. 1985 Completed development of field balance model BC-4300 and start to supply them as OEM.
Mar. 1986 established Sigma Electronics Co., Ltd.
Aug. 1986 developed field Balancer MYSELF-1 and started to supply under OEM deal.
Apr. 1987 developed field Balancer BALANCE EYE and started to supply under OEM deal
Jun. 1987 relocated the firm to Uramishinden Industrial Complex and started the operation.
Aug. 1987 developed Automatic Balancer for Grinding Wheel.
May. 1988 developed Multivariate Analysis Technique with much increased accuracy in the unbalance detection.
Oct. 1988 started the sales of Field Balancer (SB-8307, 8308).
Jun. 1989 started the sales of SB-7001 corresponding to high-speed rotation .machines. 
Feb. 1990 Developed Tool Balancer SB-7200 at the background of speeding up of machine tools and tool unbalance was watched.
Jun. 1990 started the sales of Vertical Balancing Machine  SB-5100.   
Jun. 1991
started the sales of Field Balancer SB-7200 for high-precision machine tools. 
Sep. 1991 signed up for Japan Testing Machinery Association.
Aug. 1992 jointly developed Tool Balancing Machine SHV-6100 for high-precision . machine tools with Messrs. Toshiba Machine CO., Ltd.
Oct. 1992 started the sales of High-Precision Field Balancer SB-7002.  
Oct. 1992 Made a presentation of SHB series horizontal balancing machines and SB-7002 field balancer at the 16th Japan International Machine Tool Fair.
Apr. 1993 Made a presentation of SHB series horizontal balancing machines and SHV series vertical balancing machines at the 2nd Japan Testing Technology Show (TEST93).
Jul. 1993 started the sales of field balancer SB-8001 for High-Precision Grinding
Oct. 1993 Started sales of field balancer SB-8002 for general rotating machinery and started to supply as OEM of Akashi corporation.
Oct. 1994 development of fully automatic unbalance correction without re-arrangement between measuring and correction is completed.
Nov. 1994 made a presentation of Fully-Automatic Balancing Machine SHVA-6100 series at the 17th Japan International Machine Tool Fair (INTEX OSAKA). And supplied them to the clients.
Apr. 1995 developed Full-Automatic Balancing Machine  (SB-MELT) which produces a jet of adhesive agent while rotating  and to correct the unbalancing .
Aug. 1995 developed Vertical Balancing Machine SSV-51001 for ultra light work piece and supplied to the clients.
Mar. 1996 Increasing capital to 10,000,000yen.
Nov. 1996 made a presentation of various balancing machines including SHVA-6100, SB-MELT at the 18th Japan International Machine Tool Fair (at Tokyo Big Sight).
Apr. 1997 made a presentation of various balancing machines including SHVA-6100, SB-MELT at the 4th Japan testing technology show (TEST 97).
Nov. 1997 established Kanagawa Branch Office in Sagamihara shi.
Jul. 1998 delivered new balancing machine SHVA-6110 with compensation of surface waviness (max. 2mm) and chip conveyer to pump manufacturer.
Oct. 1998 made a presentation of various balancing machines including SHVA-6110, SSV-5100 at the 19th Japan International Machine Tool Show.
Apr. 1999 made a presentation of Field Balancer SB-8003 with built -in Printer and combined  with personal computer and started the sales.
Apr. 2000 made a presentation of newly developed Balancing Machine SSV2-58000 for Polygon Mirror at the 18th MOTOR TECH JAPAN.
Oct. 2000 developed a system able to correct the balance of turbo-molecular pump at its actual  rotation speed and supplied to the clients.
Oct. 2000 made a presentation of newly developed Field Balancer SB-7003 and SB-7300, which able to measure the speed of max- 400,000 min-1 at the 20th Japan International Machine Tool Fair (Tokyo Big sight).
Apr. 2001 started the sales of new type Filed balancer - SB-7003 and SB-7300.
Feb. 2002 developed foremost “Multi-speed multi-plane field balancer SB-7700R”, preventing vibration at wide speed range of flexible rotor with higher order of bending modes.
Oct. 2002 made a presentation of newly developed Field Balancer for flexible rotor SB-7700 at 21st Japan International Machine Tool Fair (Tokyo Big sight).
Apr. 2003 made a presentation of many type of balancing machines at 21st Motor Tech Japan (Makuhari Messe) , and at 7th Japan Testing Technology Show(Tokyo Big Sight).
Jun. 2003 started to sales of Field Balancer SB7700R.
Nov. 2003 made a presentation of SB-8800R at Maintenance Tech show ,and started to sales.
Apr. 2004 made a presentation of newly developed vertical balancing machine SSV2-5100 which is combined with new measuring unit at 22nd Motor Tech Japan.
Sep. 2004 awarded by Okayama local authority for Sigma’s technology as Excellent skill.
Nov. 2004 made a presentation of newly developed Field Balancers SB-7700R and SB-8800R, balancing machine SSV2-5100 at 22nd Japan International Machine Tool Fair (Tokyo Big Sight).
Feb. 2005 released "SB-7004R","SB-7400R" as successor of "SB-7003"
Apr. 2005 exhibited all products that were exhibited at 22nd JITOF and Horizontal Balancing Machine,"SSB-6001A" at 8th General Testing Machine & Equipment Exhibition.
Sep. 2005 completion of New Building of Sigma Main Office.
Mar. 2006 received Technological Award from Chugoku Shikoku Branch of Precision Machine engineering society for the reason that "SB-7700R" contributed to manufacturing accurracy of MachineTool.
May 2006 released New type Field Balancer "SB-8001","SB-8002" and"SB-8003" that improved measurement accuracy.
Oct. 2006 exhibited "SSV-5100", "SSB-6100A" and each kind of Field Balancer at" 23rd Japan International Machine Tool Trade Fair."
Apr. 2007 exhibited "SSV2-51001A","SSV2-58001A","SSB-6100A" and each kind of Field Balancer at 9th General Testing Machine & Equipment Exhibition.
May 2007 released "SB-7701R","SB-7704R","SB-7704RH" in SB7700 series that improved speed of arithmetic operation.
Sep. 2007 certified by ISO9001. Certified registration name :JQA-QMA13358
Oct. 2008 Exhibited fully automatic balancing machine SHVA-6130A, and SB-7704R, the first field balancer that enabled to prevent three-dimensional vibration of all rotational speed range at 24th Japan International Machine Tool Trade Fair.
Apr. 2009 exhibited "SSV2-5100A","SSV2-58001A","SSB-6001A" and each kind of Field Balancer at 10th General Testing Machine & Equipment Exhibition.
Apr. 2009 selected in Chugoku area as one of " 300 medium and smaller enterprises active at manufacturing" by the Chugoku bureau of Economy,Trade and Industry Department.
Jul. 2009 supplied Fully automatic Balancing Machine "SHVA-6130A" for Impeller to Pump Maker K, of which correction of cut surface for undulation (Max5mm) was strengthened and available for correction of Work with large diameter( MaxΦ600mm).
Apr. 2010 released "SB-7702" and "SB-8801"in each series equipped with new CPU and speed of arithmetic operation was improved than former produts.
Sep. 2010 released Field Balancer, "SB-8001GB","SB-8002RB" equipped with 3.5 inch color liquid crystal display driven by battery.
Sep. 2010 released Fully automatic Balance Correction Machine"SHVA2-6130A"that enabled to perform 2 plane balance correction by same program on the machine.
Oct. 2010 developed above mentioned "SHVA2-6130AT" with automatic load-in and load-out system added.
Oct. 2010 exhibited "SHVA2-6130A","SHVA2-6130AT","SB-8002RB",etc. at 25th Japan International Machine Tool Trade Fair.
Mar. 2011 developed Field Balancer for 1-4 plane correction equipped with 5.7 inch color liquid crystal display and USB communications driven by battery.
Jul. 2011 released "SB-7005" series as successor of "SB-7004"series.
Oct. 2011 exhibited various products including SHVA2-6130A, SB-7702, SB-8801RB, SB-7005 at Japan Testing Technology Show (TEST 2011).
May. 2012 Sigma’s engineer has been awarded from Japan Testing machinery Association.
Dec. 2013 SB-8802 has been released as replacement of SB-8801.
Feb. 2014 SB-7006 has been released as replacement of SB-7005.
SB-7705 has been released as replacement of SB-7702.
Mar. 2014 Technology Contribution Prize is awarded from Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) region branch.
Sep. 2014 exhibited Vibrometer "VM-1001" series at the 17th M-Tech.
Sep. 2015 exhibited FieldBalancer "SB-7705R, SB-8802R" series, Balancing Machine "SHVA-5110A, SSB-6001A", Condition monitor "CM-1000" series, and Laser Doppler Vibrometer "SLV-300" series at Japan Testing Technology Show (TEST2015).
Mar. 2016 Started rental business of measuring equipment.
May. 2017 Renewal from "SB-8802RB/7705RB" series to "SB-8805RB/7706RB" series.
